Harford Mutual Insurance Group Named to 2026 RISE Elite 50 Internships List
Harford Mutual Insurance Group’s Internship Program has been named to the RISE® Elite 50 Internships list for 2026, marking the sixth consecutive year the company has been recognized among the top internship programs in the insurance industry nationwide.
Presented annually by Rising Insurance Star Executives (RISE®), the Elite 50 Internships program honors organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to developing future talent through meaningful learning experiences, mentorship, leadership exposure, and professional growth opportunities.
Launched in 2013, Harford Mutual’s Internship Program provides college students with hands-on experience across a variety of departments, including Information Technology, Claims, Underwriting, Loss Control, and Special Investigations. Throughout the eight-week summer program, interns gain real-world industry knowledge while working alongside experienced professionals and engaging directly with company leaders.
Since the program began, nearly 60 students have completed internships with Harford Mutual, with 16 transitioning into full-time roles and remaining with the company today.
