Clearpath Specialty, formerly ClearPath Mutual, is now a member of Harford Mutual Insurance Group (HMIG). NEW and RENEWED Clearpath policies with an effective date of 1/1/2024 and after, will be managed in the HMIG systems. Links and information below left. Look for correspondence from both company brands with insurance-related materials.

Policies with an Effective Date
01/01/2024 AND AFTER

Payment Information and Payment Plans must be re-entered in the HMIG/Paymentus Customer Portal prior to your policy invoice due date.

Make a payment 24/7/365. Select the “Make A Payment” link in the upper-right corner.

Follow the prompts to create an account for easy billing and payment management, or make a one-time payment using any of these convenient payment options.

Additional payment options are also available, including by phone or by mail.

If you had a 2-pay or 12-pay payment plan with the former ClearPath Mutual, your plan will change to the following:

  • 3 Payments (replaces 2-pay) — 40% due on the effective date and 30% in the 3rd and 5th policy months
  • 10 Payments (replaces 12-pay) — 10% due on the effective date and 10% in each of the next nine policy months.

  • $5.00 Installment Fee applies at invoicing per policy to the 2nd and subsequent installments.
  • $10.00 Late Fee applies per policy whenever a cancellation notice for non-payment of premium is processed.
  • $25 Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Check Fee applies to all returned checks (paper or electronic) by the financial institution for non-sufficient funds.
  • $25 Reinstatement Fee per policy following non-pay cancellation (South Carolina, $10)
