Tia Timpson featured as Keynote Speaker at the Harford County Commission on Disabilities’ employment recognition luncheon
Harford Mutual Insurance’s accounting assistant, Tia Timpson, was the keynote speaker at the Harford County Commission on Disabilities’ annual employment recognition luncheon.
Having suffered a stroke during her sophomore year of college, Tia’s speech recounted the details of the day of her stroke and the challenges that followed. She urged listeners to be proud of their own survivor stories. Tia closed with an invitation to audience members to each tell their neighbors, “You are beautiful. Your story is beautiful. Your scars are beautiful. You inspire me.”
