Harford Mutual donation to The Maryland Book Bank
Harford Mutual Insurance employees gathered to officially donate over 550 books to The Maryland Book Bank. Employees were asked to donate books during the month of February as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility mission of supporting the communities we serve.
According to the Maryland Book Bank, there is often only 1 book per 300 children in low-income neighborhoods. Children in these “book deserts” are invited to visit the bookmobile when it comes to their neighborhood and select and keep up to 5 books each. Consider a book drive at your company.
