Harford Mutual Insurance Maintains A.M. Best A (Excellent) 2019 Rating

Harford Mutual Insurance Company announced that insurance ratings agency A.M. Best Co. has reaffirmed its financial strength rating of A (Excellent) and an Issuer Credit Rating (ICR) “a” with a Stable outlook on May 24, 2019. “Maintaining an A (Excellent) rating is a testament to our steadfast and long-term performance, execution of a well-defined strategic vision, and fiscal conservatism.  It is of utmost importance to our policyholders and agency partners to be protected by a consistently highly-rated carrier,” said Steve Linkous, President/CEO.  “We are strongly positioned to fulfill our company’s mission of protecting the financial well-being of our policyholders through mutuality, financial strength, quality insurance products and services, and meaningful partnerships.” Harford Mutual’s subsidiary, Firstline National Insurance Company, retains the pooled rating.
